I'm not responsible for past postings, Joseph. No one on SI is. SI postings are subject to temporal anomalies that allow one to temporize at will. Postings have the shelf life of tempura. Notes are subject to endless revisions. You may have noticed it.

For example, here's a condensed summary of postings from several esteemed gurus today: "In fact, I shorted the market last Friday. I did not go long. When I said that I was going long last Friday, I actually meant that I was shorting the market. You should have realized that. I congratulate myself on my foresight, and on my infallible system."

So: What I actually said is that Euclid is NOT my guru. Merlin was the one who invented geometry, anyway. When he was imprisoned in the trunk of a tree, he cried out, "Geometry!"
