I doubt that one will ever change irt NYC. 15 years ago a friend of mine from NYC came to visit me here in Baltimore, walked into my house and said, "Wow, do you realize that if this place as in New York it would be 5 million?" Every time I visit people up there no matter how nice their apartment is, I keep thinking that there has to be another room behind a closet door or something. It must be one of the reasons people like you are so irritable all the time. Not enough space, it makes people very aggressive. Truth is if you'd be willing to give up the hell of living in NYC you could afford a pretty nice house, but you won't because everyone in NY is convinced everywhere else is some sort of backwater (where people bake cookies and don't go to college).
