If you look at the movement in the price of gold today as just one example, the "announcement" came right as the market was beginning an upward charge. These guys could look really stupid for having already pre-sold their gold through 'leasing' the gold for others to sell at much lower prices -- these guys are more guilty than Ken Lay of screwing up and hoping to cover their tracks. I don't think the market will buy their phony BNS any longer. The fact is, Central Banks bet heavily on a lower gold price and are not amused at being shown up as idiots. We will see who wins this little tug of war. Somebody bought a boatload of Nem into the close today -- I think the gloves are about to come off.
