Not quite. You will be killed, regardless. Notice the Allah-believers killed in WTC. It's not a matter of religious belief, that's just a convenience - it's easier to brainwash the devoutly religious, and that particular religion is tailor-made.
The main idea is to have a war.
After the retribution and destruction of training camps wears off, weapons of mass destruction are rooted out, there will need to be more reason to be "at war", even if there are no terrorist events.
Such "events" can be manufactured, surprisingly enough.
Without going into the completely off-the-wall idea that someone in the administration planned 9/11 for political purposes, it must be recognized that the US military has planned terrorism in the US of US citizens in the past.
Who believes they aren't capable of doing so in the future?
