Thanks X,
For Rec on the "Monster's Ball".. I understand about "parts in it being it" difficult to watch.. But that is so true.. Like in life, like at SI, like I told you, it is worth it, watching those parts, and seeing...
I don't know. Maybe I do, I probably do...
Okay, I move on, and talk about writing here, In particular the "The New Yorker", Feb 18 &25, 2002 issue, On page 66, "Shadow Land" by Joe Klein, A picture, the caption underneath which states, "Every Iranian women makes a political statement by where she places her scarf......" And the picture shows I assume, three Iranian women.. But so
Shallow of a picture.. models, filmed in a New York studio, I bet the ranch on, with the hippest of hip sun glasses, young women with clear white, chiseled jaws sitting on a curb with a few a trashy paper cups around for effect I assume. leading one, the casual reader to believe the picture is real.. I don't know but being on the same day,
I hear about the "disinformation campaign of the pentagon and which I know anyway, I wonder, I wish, I suffered from that old maladay of:
"Ignorance is Bliss" and only worry about, like currently, "Ice Dancing". Where the young and the beautiful have such fun.. And SOME, only a FEW unfortunately of the older, like me, just enjoy, just love that expression of joy and happiness..
That is why I posted to you on another thread when the recap came on..
