relatives we have around Valdivia (Chile) speak with awe about the 1960 subduction ruction they had there. Top-rate cropland was dropped 40 feet and became worthless salt swamp. Worst thing was, the brewery burned to the ground, or rather on the ground after being inertially disassembled. Or something!!!
