If there are no spreads or commissions and you traded down here on Globex say with no leverage and you did the trade right after the market closed in the US before the price could move that is what the result would be. Adding leverage might get over the spreads, commissions etc. I'd need to do the simulation.

I would actually either be trading News Corp as a proxy or NDX/QQQ options here.

The ideal long-short makes about 700% in that time frame....
