Eve,

I have a Jaz drive made by Iomega. It works fine and
I've used it for quite a while now. Why can't you believe it
doesn't have any higher failure rate than any other electronic
device. Of course I use it the way its intended. Nothings completely
child proof. If you try hard enough you can break anything. Under what conditions is this problem supposed to exist ? I'd be willing to try and duplicate it. I run video games from mine for hours sometimes without any problems. I have also left my computer downloading files from the internet for 12 hours while I was at work one night, again no problems. I would like to try and duplicate this condition if it exists, as a shareholder this would be important to know, Where did you hear this rumor ?

Bill
