Robert, re: <Our model is a long cycle model - is yours a short cycle one?>

Tough question as I've found that people have different definitions of a long cycle or short cycle (g). My model tends to go from 100% long to 100% cash 4-6 times annually so I'd call that a short cycle model.

Actually the internals of the model are made of two parts; first is a longer cycle model that has fundamental and economic indicators. Second is a technical model that swings back and forth much more often and reacts differently depending on whether the long term model is bullish or bearish. The fundamental/economic portion of the model is currently quite bullish. The technical short term portion of the model has been bearish for over a month, but is now becoming oversold and starting to look better.

I'd be interested in how your model works and what it is telling you.

Tom
