Probably why Buffett had been selling Freddie over the last several years. When he was selling, no one could understand why. Think he sold his last Freddie early in 2001.

Once again, Buffett years ahead of Mr. Market.

Scary thing is that Buffett recently hammered such blue chips as GE, GM and IBM for their overly optimistic pension fund return assumptions among other things. Buffett says inevitable downward revisions on pension return assumptions will hammer future earnings.

If true, only a matter of time before the next shoe drops for them.
