ive read that one should be good at one type of trading or "strategy" or type of market. i dont believe that is a good idea.

My fear is the "market" or play no longer works or doesn't work for that time period.

e.g. breakout plays.. works well in bull mkt, but have to play more cautiously in bear markets..

simliarly same principle, i want to have a trading system for intraday, daily scale trading (swing), mid term weekly/monthly holds.

this is also due partly to the large size of the portfolio. can't daytrade a big portfolio (risk)..

thus, that's where my goals are and reasons behind it
