MrB, the DJIA and its PE are available somewhere. For starters you can go to... averages.dowjones.com to see a 10-year chart. This one is for 1930 - 1939. It has time-line info, too. I'll try to find PE info later - it would be neat to plot both on the same chart. I'll walk Tucker now. Got to get away from the screen for a while. On the same site I looked at 'Dow Diaries'. It shows a shelf of books, and pointing at a book reveals the title. I'll return there later. Lots of fascinating reading! GM
