Well, I am no doctor and not working in hospital but I deal with crazy minds. I made money the beginning of the year but I got burn recently, not because I didn't know the fact but I thought I could made a good profit by taking the risk, similiar to your Bre-X. About the buy "sell at market", sometimes you could get somthing cheap but most of the time they sell you 100 or 500 then you still pay the minimum commission. I try to sell or buy at least 5K in a single day so as to pay less commission.I must admitted that there is no good buying strategy. I just do the same thing as you did, TRY & TRY to BUY LOW SELL HIGH. NVN I have more than enough, IMT I'm ready but not in a hurry.
