I agree completely. They should be axing more people, but Chambers doesn't like to axe. In addition, they should stop handing out options like candy. I've said that all along. Now your assertion that no one is hiring, I can dispute. Jobs are out there, you just have to know where to look ( I just changed jobs recently for no cut in pay whatsoever). You're right that maybe networking companies aren't hiring anymore, but if you are an IT worker like me, you can find plenty of IT jobs, just not in the telecom or networking industries. For instance, paper companies still need process automation. Insurance companies still need process automation. Every industry I can think of needs process automation. I'll always be employed for good money, as long as I'm not lazy. Now I may not always make 6 figures, but I'll make good money anywhere I go.
