NBS is a manufacturer of instrumentation for medical laboratories and employs approximately 400 people. Annual sales are over $50 million per annum. NBS is publicly traded on the NASDAQ. Mr. David Freedman has over 50 years of experience in managing a biomedical instrumentation company. He founded NBS in 1946. NBS's products, such as rotary shakers, fermentors and variety of incubators, quickly became standards in the fields of biochemistry and biotechnology. Mr. Freedman holds about 200 patents and has authored many scientific publications. Mr. Freedman founded six companies other than NBS, including Princeton AquaScience, Bioinstrument Company, Segnatron and others. He was a member of the Board of Directors of six companies. Currently, Mr. Freedman is Chairman of the Board and CEO of NBS.
