No. I don't buy your line of reasoning.

The answer is because union members represent one of the last remaining blocs of voters that Republicans can tap, and Bush is going out of his way not to anger those of us who carry a union card.

In other words, if unions truly are corrupt, as many on this thread allege, the lackeys of Big Business should not look for much support for their anti-labor crusade from this GOP administration.

The "hands off" policy will continue at least until after the November '02 election.
