Brian, having owned and sold all three I would have to say that I don't know.
UUnet has a partnership with Microsoft and initially dealt with Internet access for
businesses. Netcom on the other hand initially dealt with the individual account.

The difference as I see it is that UUnet has Microsofts backing and Netcom has
about 10m shares outstanding with a greater growth rate than PSInet.

Other than that I really can't say much. I made lots of money on UUnet and
Netcom and thought I would never break even on PSInet. But much to my
surprise while UUnet and Netcom were declining daily, PSInet reversed the
trend and I eventually sold at a profit.

Since all three stocks are tracked at SI why don't you group all three and
look at the chart. You'll probably see that UUnet and Netcom track each
other and PSInet does the reverse.
