If Naz can get worse, what about the old economy stocks like JNJ, PFE, DD,GE, UTX, HON, etc...

Just wonder if the Nasdaq can go into a steep decline and the old economy still make gains.
That could actually be a scenario that unfolds if people keep taking cash out of tech and put into stable lower PE stocks. That kind of feeds upon itself..in a sense a panic asset re-allocation. Is it possible that these sectors can gain even if the Naz has a steep decline. (1600 to 1650)
This is what puzzles me; I recall that some sectors did very well when the Nasdaq was in a free fall in 2000.
