Well Tim I didn't mean to say your posting styles are similar. I meant that you seem to be supporting his argument.

There is an enemy, Tim. An enemy to democracy. An enemy that wants to arrest dissenters.
In your haste to show you are different than what you perceive the typical SI winger to be, you stand ready to accuse me of wanting to arrest dissenters.
Maybe you are right, maybe I am unsure of your political leanings, and am overly ready to pronounce you guilty of the same thing as flapjack is, saying there is no enemy to democracy, that it is a made up threat. That you are a liberal.
I doubt that.
I think you are swayed by the lefties, that right wingers just want to lock people up. And you see me as a typical right winger.
I think you are playing fast and loose with your self.
And, I do not ascribe this to you, without a basis.
And, if you want to say that I am overreacting, I say it all started with a hysterical rant by you, that I said Karen is an enemy of democracy.
I said her post was an attack on democracy. Based on a poor understanding of the real world dynamics.
So take care. I see more than a little dishonesty and lack of care in your posts. And I do not want to waste further time and energy on it. Even if you come clean, you will still continue subtle yet abusive misuse of what is, on my part, an honest and sincere attempt to participate in democracy, through discourse. |
