Have you noticed? In the absence of any fundamental reason to invest in stocks, negative equity fund flows, and a peaked/pooped-out bond market ~ what's left over is a bunch of "Technical Traders".

> I trade so much better when I turn off CNBC ...

...especially now, as there is no reason to buy or sell ~ there are only "magic lines" on our charts, strange attractor gaps on the SPX and VIX that must be filled, and fairly evident PUT:CALL = oversold:overbought situations that beg to be flipped.

yeah, it is a lousy time to be a momentum trader but, hey ~ what a heyday for T/A position traders (^_^)

because? because that's all there is. we're just kicking this crap around: it's not like it's going anywhere {grin}

the horses that are good rides all have HIGH BETAS; ie., correlation to the SPX. you'd be crazy to trade against the spoo ~ with a dead Fed, even the silly BONDZ are being driven by the equity herd.

right. buy a ticket on the 545 line and get off at Sloan Square: mind the gap, mate ;-)
