The wording is awfully strong. Emboldened by other
cases, maybe some of these firms have overshot and
are going to find they've been too aggressive with Elan.

Specifically, the lawsuit accuses Elan of using more
than 50 sham joint ventures to keep research-and-
development costs off its books, pump up earnings and
artificially inflate its stock price.


They complaints are easily printed, it will be fun
to have Renee walk me through the jargon.

fwiw, it always seemed to me that these deals were
a really good way for Elan to get their hooks into
my companies cheaply.
