Separately today, the Company announced that it has
agreed to sell its oligonucleotides division for
approximately 25 million. During the fourth quarter of
2001, the Company also initiated a process under which it
may sell interests it holds in certain other companies. On
February 20, 2002, Genset's shareholders approved the
previously announced Equity Line with Société Générale,
which may provide up to 30 million over the next 24
months.
