Texas Instruments reiterates Q1 forecasts

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 20, 2002 (AFX-Asia via COMTEX) -- Texas Instruments Inc reiterated its financial forecasts for the current quarter, saying its bottom line figures will be about break even on sales that will be flat compared to the previous three months.
The forecasts were made in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The chip and electronic equipment group said pro forma non-operating income in the first quarter to March will rise to about 15 mln usd.

Last quarter, the company posted a net loss of 105 mln usd on sales of 1.79 bln usd.
