Re: In Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the "terror"tories, Yemen, Somalia, you name it, they would love an unemployment rate of only 11%.

LOL... You sleazebag! Economics isn't your forte, eh?? " they would love an unemployment rate of only 11%..." So would many EUROPEAN industrial wastes... What, do you think, is the jobless rate in Wallonia (Belgium)? Lorraine (France)? Andalucia (Spain)? Sicily (Italy)? East Germany? Unemployment in all these "Western, developed, civilized" regions is persistently stuck in the double-digit numbers, ranging from 15% to 50+% in the most hopeless ghost-towns.... Take Belgium for instance: the country boasts an overall 9% unemployment rate.... which breaks down like this: 7.5% in Flanders (pop: about 6 mill), 17% in Wallonia (pop: about 3 mill), and 18% in Brussels (pop: 1 mill). But it gets even worse as you delve deeper, down to the subregional level.... Charleroi: 25%+, Mons-Borinage: 30%+, etc. See, for Europe's underdogs, a Palestinian slum would be an improvement to their current plight. Besides, more and more dropouts in France, Belgium,... already inhabit campsites on a permanent basis (cheaper than brick-and-mortar houses). In Brazil or Africa, I guess it's called a "shantytown" but in Europe we call it, well, a low-budget campsite....
