As an example I was called today to go to the Bahai Temple here in Evanston and pray with my two younger boys, Thomas and Andrew. So I did just that. And when we got there I was called to watch the movie on their incredible project to build this wonderously beautiful temple in New Delhi, largely by hand.
This day in history is a clearing point as I have pointed out in the posts above and when the movie got to the point where they were documenting the final artistic capstone with images and signs of ALL the worlds religions in place in the very top of the inner temple I was called to note the date: 19861222
Do you think this irrascible hebrew preacher Jesus could have used some Bahai Lessons ?<G> Or some Hindu classes ? Or even some training in Zen ? (It sure would have helped his "mean streak" and losing control as he did so much of the time .
We are surely not talking about one of the foremost wisest of men the world has ever seen ....but thanks to the Roman State's influence , he did become a 2000yr old fad , and like Osirus or Thor or Hercules were made into Gods as we have seen happen so many times before.

If you read the fine print in the dogma of Christianity Fredrich , then you are fully aware that only thru Christ can you be "saved" , and come to know God . Yes Fred , it's in the "fine print" , and it is completely false , or
at least just a tiny (colosal) bit of --->"egoism". Ahem .
Are you re-writing the Bible Scripture now , or becoming a prophet of Bahai ?
The interesting thing about the Hindu , Fredrich , is they
ackowledge all legitimate religions as part of the expressions of some divine ever~present, inner & rarer reality ...to be unfolded.
There have been Gurus and Sages & Buddhas thru the many Centuries that Jesus from Nazareth would have been lucky to have sat at their feet ...
(and learned to control his temper for a good start )
And wasn't it he (Jesus) that said :
There will be those that will come after me that will do greater deeds than I have done ?
There were those that also came before him as well. As for
one God , or One Mind , Or one Eternal Soul or energy permeating the Universe both macro and micro . ...since when did it become such a new thing to you ? It is an ancient perrenial philosophy Mr Smart , older than Moses
that little children can sense early on without the aid
of prophets or messiahs <G>
So sad how it (perrenial philosophy) became so mangled and
disfigured by the outrageous drama's ,dogmas & mean little fairytales of such religious farces as Original Sin and "The Fall" ....and Satan , Evil and the threats of damnation everlasting Hell .
But it was a Dogma and Teaching calculated to threaten and cower ...not very original though and in the process of fast being replaced . |
