You're not going far enough It's more than a corporate war, it's political in all senses. We have to take responsibility for 1979 and onwards, as well as current meddling, as well as profiteering. It's mess. They all need to go, including the current crop of profiteers. It is a tragedy alright. In so many ways. As far as justifying anything short of war, I don't. Fine, we've had war. Took little time. Ever notice how the US essentially plays geopolitical Nintendo with foreign states? Do you feel powerless? Not a chance. Our black ops can terminate almost anybody, is my opinion, counter to that excuse-monger Tenet. We're not because it doesn't suit thepurposes of the current regime. These excuses don't hold water. I have no confidence what my government is telling me. I believe honest American military leaders and citizens can protect ourselves without the kind of "Axis" arithmetic so beloved of the geopolitical game-players who suck our economy dry and propagandize.
