I'm serious. Some of those stocks will never again see the highs of 1999, but I don't advise her. I let her financial advisor/private banker do that and I stay the hell out of it!

That was a once in a generation bubble...

But to a buy and holder who has lived off dividends alone for over 50 years, I don't think it matters much. They grown a thousand fold anyway over the years. Split after split, merger after merger. The dividends are all that matter to her, and they seem to always be growing and compounding.

So you think we will see nas 4000 again in the next 5 years? I don't.
