I wasn't going to comment because I figured that it would die down eventually but it seems to be going on and on.

I probably wont reply more then once or twice if someone replies to my post.

To-or-about is simple and easy. One person on SI and I have such an agreement, and neither of us has ever had cause to complain

What about just "about". Rather then "to or about". In other words no personal references but CH would still be free to respond to the type of posts that he claims Poet made if she makes them again (or for the first time depending on who you believe) as long as no comments where made about Poet but rather just about the topic.

Or what if CH would basically stop posting about, and maybe to or about Poet without making a formal commitment to do so. Perhaps all these posts insisting that CH do x, or not do y, could wait until next time he actually does something to annoy Poet if he actually does do something in the future.

Personally if someone was annoyed by something that I wrote and wanted to do a "no talking to or about me" commitment, I would be reluctant to do so. I might make a special effort not to refer to them in personaly (talking about them, trying to flirt with them, ect.) and to be extra polite and careful if the topic ever involved them in some way (either they where a participant or they where directly or indirectly referred to or quoted by a participant), but I would not necessarily want to commit to follow a "no to or about rule".
