Michael, I have never had any illusions about you or Neo or Charleymane being from Hotubistan or any other rich enclave. In fact, Neo's little bio doesn't differ much from my own, except that my father died at age 40 before he could rise from blue collar to white collar, leaving behind eight children (a good Catholic family, you see) and a heroic widow who was left to raise them.
And I am a bit flabbergasted that after complaining that the Dem posters stereotype the GOP types on this thread, you engage in precisely the same practice in the very same post! I don't come close to fitting within either of your narrow categories. I have worked since I was 12, worked my way through a private Catholic college and then night law school, and am proud, not guilty, of what I have achieved. And far from being a victim, I feel fortunate to live in a country where such achievements are possible. So for the same reason that you are offended by the notion that folks are labeling you, you ought to refrain from that practice yourself.
