Ray, don't you know that Enron was just the bad boy exception, and because the power still flowed after they collapsed, it proves that deregulation WORKS ?! I think they're right that this is the tip of the iceberg.

They came very close to having a good degree of control over a national grid, where they could manipulate at will, over a wide and complex network -- if it took California this long to uncover some of these manuevers, imagine what could happen on a national scale.

State and small region regulatory control is necessary as long as we have interconnected, centralized grids, and power marketers who could care less about the states and their citizens, imo.
