A classic line from Rick Schottenfeld, the guest host on CNBC this morning.

After being shot down for his mixed metaphor, "When you try to catch a falling knife, you get your fingers burned" [rather than cut], he quipped,

"What I was trying to say was that when you try to pick bottoms, you normally end up with smelly fingers!"

At which time CNBC took a commercial break...
