Dale, <<Why isn't it seasonal?>> I may be able to answer this. Fresh Juice (Florida operation) processes oranges only at the peak of sweetness and quality. They squeeze the oranges and freeze the whole juice, not concentrate. They have a patented bottle (big deal?) that lets them freeze the juice in the container. Then they distribute that juice to customers all year long. Hotel chains find that especially valuable to have consistent quality. Fresh juice also produces other juices during the year other than orange. Therefore the business is not seasonal, just production. What are the advantages of frozen orange juice? Highest quality orange juice available year round. Even the fresh squeezed juice you buy in the supermarket isn't necessarily high quality. It may be fresh squeezed, but the oranges may be of poor quality. After squeezing, orange juice degenerates quickly. Nutrients degrade. Other companies frozen concentrates don't compare. The Hanson component (new acquisition) is different and I don't know much about their products other than they are popular on the west coast. Fresh Juices frozen juice is unique and differentiates itself in the market, another reason that Fresh Juice Co. is a good investment. It's not uncommon to see investors that have sat on a "dead money" stock want to get their money back as soon as they can. If FRSH reports good earnings in a week or two, you really messed up getting out IMO. In previous posts I think I explained what happened before and what's different now. Good luck investing.
