If the idea is that the past is no guarantee of the future, well I agree as well. So this being true, there are some who forsee that CDMA will take over the wireless world. And thus that the share price of QCOM will give good long term returns. What would you say to these individuals? There is no one that knows anything about wireless that doesn't admit CDMA is going to have 100% of the 3G market, be it CDMA2000, W-CDMA or any other flavor. If that doesn't translate into good long-term returns, I don't know what will.
