Funding start up companies to build out CDMA networks through vendor financing is one thing. Investing an appropriate sum in Sprint PCS to replace Treasury yelds with 8 or 9% high yiled paper would be quite another thing. QCOM invests in every other CDMA carrier in the world. I see no reason why they should not provide the same service for Sprint PCS. If they dont' exert influence, somebody else will.
