i don't mean to address this to you, John, but what "fundamental" investors usually don't understand is that the best case scenarios are usually 'foreseen', 'envisioned' and 'priced in' by mr. market well in advance of their actual realization.
QCOM would never have reached $ 800 otherwise.
same with other tech and internet stocks who reached ridiculous market cap peaks BECAUSE OF all the undeniable potential of this internet revolution.
we were pricing visions, possibilities and (business) plans more than companies.
it's been all downhill since, and smart tech investors were selling while the purple haze was still very dense, without pretending to play the Warren Buffett with stocks trading at 30 times revenues and higher.

having said this, i think there will be a little bounce soon in QCOM because RSI is too low, and this will pave the way for it to fall even lower later on.
