Windows NT is also a little more stable than Memphis, which might limit the number of times the system crashes or ceases to work. Crashes are pretty common in the computing world, but they'd be a new experience for televisions and VCRs.

I've asked this before and I'll ask it again - Why can't MS make Memphis a better OS in terms of reliability? They are targeting memphis for the home user, NT for business. It looks to me like NT is the answer (for MS operating systems) if you do anything more than type letters.
