CR- This is the same pattern as last year except that this time thre is no interest rate cut ot look forward to to help out and hold out the possibility of a 2H recovery as we heard last year.

This time the market is telling us something and my guess is that the something is that there is no recovery, not this year nor next year.

If there were there would be some signs of it but there are not. Most of the biggies have said no recovery in sight this year.

Without the certainty of a recoery we get more of this 'test the lows' and 'can't recover till there is an all out drop' and other crap like that. All these T/A terms are probably relateble to the movements of the market and individual stocks in some way with a bit of shoving and turning but hey are merely coincidental.

The real and only issue is that the economy is in deep recession headed for deflation if not already there. All we need to see is a little old fashioned increase in business and the T/A explanations and bottom testing nonsense theories will dissapear. Till then yo don't need to be a genius to work out that the market will tank and continue to tank unitl business picks up..

Best,

L
