OT***** Photo Alert ****** Once in a great while, I get lucky. I was actually stalking a great blue heron on the La Jolla coast. But I was beginning to set up by a tide pool when this fellow showed up not ten feet from me. By dumb luck, I happened to snap the shutter when he(?) caught a fish. photos.yahoo.com Egrets are are tough to photograph when they are hunting, because their style involves constant movement (while great blues hold still for a long period of time); they stir up the bottom with their feet.
