hey lazylakers,

it is good to see you finally come back with an excellent post on what I hope to be the buzzzzz of 2002 - GSM1X. I have to admit that I read your posts a couple of times and I suspect many did also. Seriously, thanks.

I have lots of questions but lets start with a few quick ones.

1) what are the QCOM chipsets that can fit into this GSM1X scheme?

2) are all the handsets then equipped with a UIM or SIM card?

3) how soon do you think a commercial launch can technically be accomplished, if your "wishing thinking" dream of China adoption becomes reality?

4) if a current GSM carrier adopts GSM1X path, what will be the next move? GSM 1X - 1X EV DO??
