Art: Yes, that is why I thought it might be well for some clarification here, so that at least those on this thread could have some further perspective and understanding.

I agree with you BTW that this will have a negative effect on Qualcomm in the short run (its a bit complicated for "the street") - but then all the good news seems to be of little impact - little positive impact at least.

I still see a "show me the money" attitude re: Qualcomm and techs in general. Until later this year when revenue, cash flow and earnings begin to reflect the "good news" in concrete measurable terms, (if that happens in fact), I see little chance of any major move up - BWDIK.

Good"news" by itself won't have much if any impact in this atmosphere, but bad "news" does.
