I don't guess you could get anyone to look at this "universe" of 16 funds:

Your fellow-Texan Tice has outdone almost everything on the entire board of mutual funds, up almost 17% for the year. Only some gold funds and the Profund OTC Ultrashort (at +29%) have done better--as far as I know. I can't get a Barron's until tomorrow.

Tice has had quite a run of good hits, with gold supplying a little of that (approx. 8% of the fund is my guess). But it's impossible to know exactly what's in Prudent Bear since their policy is not to show this except semiannually--and by that time it's changed.

If Quick and Reilly handled Profunds I would have been in that (all my BEARX is in IRAs and a custodial account).
