In large measure, as as a sycophant of Julian Simon, Lomborg reaches correct conclusions about the deflation in and surfeit of natural resources for human consumption.

But that is the problem with the man. He knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. He can look at quantitative figures about how Norweigan, Scottish and North American fish farming operations are turning out tons of farmed salmon and see this as a positive. While completely disregarding the devastation to the local ecology, with native species and a healthy ecosystem replaced by a benthic zone of eutrophocation from excess salmon shit that can't get flushed, and arthropods and other community members wiped out by the pernicious and pestilential use of anti-biotics to keep salmon parasites at bay, leading inexorably to the creation of monster mutant strains of bacteria that we won't be able to control.

But Lomborg just sees production. And is utterly blind to everything else.

Lomborg is a simpleton.
