Bill Jackson, Prove that it is a proven truth that there is no God. Show me concrete evidence. You can no more prove there is no God, than I can prove there is a God. At 62, I would think that you had learned what proof is by now. I hide behind no religion, but choose, of my own free will, to believe in God, and Jesus Christ. It seems that nothing will be "good enough for you". That is your problem, not mine. You have nothing but an opinion, as do I, but at least I have the dignity to say that my belief is an opinion, that I hold dear.
As far as "pie in the sky" is concerned, you probably do not have long to find out for sure. Death will give the final answer to all of us, regardless of what our beliefs are. I just choose to believe that there is more to life, than the pitiful existence we have on this foul Earth. Believe as you will. Virtually all of the Canucks I have met, are as misinformed, and as pompously sure they are right, as you are.
I guess your pomposity, of which there is an ample supply, comes from spending a life in a second rate nation, added to a large dose of arrogance in believing that you are always right, and that your mere opinions must be fact, because they come from you.
