Thanks for explaining the rescaling more. I'm still not sure why it doesn't matter that the formula doesn't incorporate "Std(((h+l+c)/3),28)."

Wasn't this part of the original notion of BradCCI? Did you just find that it doesn't have much effect on the result?

If you plot it in a window under CCI, you can see how it helps avoid a lot of false signals with CCI, if you ignore signals when "Std(((h+l+c)/3),28)" is low, or at least not volatile. You have to do it by eye-balling it -- there's no formula yet for making them both work together. Or is that what your formulation is -- is the price oscillator, in effect, a substitute for "Std(((h+l+c)/3),28)"?

But BNS1 really only includes CCI, not the BradCCI addtion that Bill Sandusky was using with his BNS.

I think the RedLine indicator is important, too -- or the slow stochastics proxy. It cuts out a lot of false signals, too, when you look for it to move along with CCI (or really BradCCI.).
