After 9/11, when all planes were grounded, Dubya allowed a Saudi jet to evacuate the Bin Laden family, much to the chagrin of the FBI, who wanted to question them. That the Bin Laden family funded George Senior's first co. That Cheney conspired with other Texas oil cos. to cause the power crisis in California. I think the bin Laden family members that where in the US didn't leave until the first day that the airports where reopened. As for bin Laden family funding George Sr's first company if this is true it doesn't really show a GW connection to terrorism. Bin Laden's dad was a "respected" business man. Sure most of his success was due to political favortism but that only means he was well connected with Saudi princes not with terrorism. GHW Bush's first company would have been long before you had a bin Laden terrorist connection, and that's even assuming that it is true (and I'm skeptical). As for Cheany conspiring with oil companies to cause a power crisis in California, I think that is something the guy is just saying to sell books and get attention. Tim
