I have my doubts about it being illegal. I have worked in sales for 30 years, and stuffed many a channel. What surprised me most was that accounts that bought twice what should have still sold it all quicker than I had estimated that they would.

Ford, GM and Chrysler all stuff the dealer channels routinely during the last ten days of the month.
