Raymond Duray, I see no game in progress. The economy, which is rebounding at a surprisingly rapid rate according the the Associated Press, and will have the shortest run of any recession this, and last, century, to be serious business. If asking me if I am in the game, means to I do extensive trading in the market, the answer is no. I learned a number of decades ago, that one must build a solid base of principal that must be kept intact, and sally forth into less secure investments with a portion of the profits made by the base. When that is done properly, one does not get stung. Those that jumped into the technology fueled boom with both feet, were looking for a fall, whether they knew it or not.
I was only slightly affected by the sudden drop, and never lost a step in my life style. |
