I do enjoy the blessing of wise national policies regarding infrastructure and social programs.

does that include food stamps and medicare?

I have no entitlements currently paying off.

aw shucks.

You, on the other hand, have been at the government trough for your entire career and beyond. I'm certain you feel entitled to your pension.

gee Ray i appreciate your interest in my personal affairs.
actually, after 20 completing years of active service, i was kicked out of the army after being declared unfit for further combat duty.

i medically retired from the army 20 years ago...march 1, 1982, due to injuries and wounds sustained in combat and line of duty. fortunately, the army docs were able to replace the missing bone with steel...magnets stick to part of me...cool huh?

yes i do feel entitled to the pension...it was a contract that was offered to me 40 years ago, in february 1962, and i accepted it. if you feel left out, or feel like your personal contribution to your freedom and fat paychecks was a little light...a similar deal is still available for you today. sign up.

those first few years in the army were tight, but by the 5th year i was making over $300 a month including jump pay and all was well.

do not worry about me too much...we will continue to struggle along here, and the grandkids are helpful. thanks a lot for the recent $50 cola raise in my pension. it will really help with the bills.

goodbye ray, i will miss you...but not much.
now, i am going to try out that "ignore this person" button.
