It wasn't only the 5min chart. The market direction is very orderly right now. It is just being taken for a walk in the park....a very ugly park. If you look at the COMP 10 or 20pt chart, you can see that this move down is getting extended. stockcharts.com I just made the decision to SAR rather than just cover. Playing the ripples in both directions. But, I don't think that I am good enough to do that. I need to concentrate on one direction and stick with the plan. Until we have a real capitulation, I am going to play the dark side. Even for quickie trades. BTW: I am thinking VIX high 40s. oh, and I do think my long trades will work out, but I just don't like the risk with being long overnight or worse yet, over the weekend. Too much sh!t can happen.
