There has been some good news for the Clyde Shipbuilders recently...

Took the "dug" (Scottish for dawg) for a trip round the countryside meeting up with the local folks doing the same. They are doing some civil engineering work around here. Man...what a f**k up!

Back to subject... One shipbuilder told me they are hiring new apprentices (that means business for 5yrs or more) and there is also talk of Aircraft Carriers being built. Not as big as American Carries I expect. -g-

btw The Winter Olympics medals won recently by "Great Britain" were won by Scotland, not England. Please feel free to pass that message onto any English folk you talk too. They will be immensely pleased to hear that. -lol-
